Experiences with the Virginia Governor

The Virginia Governor's office has refused to respond to complaints, phone calls, and emails for the past 3 years in regards to constitutional rights violations caused by their policies.

Instead of responding to complaints, Governor Abigail Spanberger signed a bill to "Protect Patients & Medical Professionals from Violence at Hospitals" and increase funding for crisis services but fails to respond to reports of rights violations by Virginia Community Service Boards, Sheriffs Offices, and Police Departments.

Instead of improving funding for housing, food stamp programs, support for food banks, funding for community action programs to help with utilities, and responding to complaints, the Virginia Governor, Abigail Spanberger, signed a bill to increase funding to mental health crisis services that can't help with those issues. Citizens are regularly forced to interact with mental health crisis services due to financial issues, food insecurity, and housing issues expecting to find help with those issues but can't get it from those services.
