The Radford City Police Department neglects to investigate claims, reported crimes, and issues false warrants against citizens with disabilities.
In 2024, a former caregiver/tenant, Takoda Parker, falsely accused their previous employer/landlord of theft after being asked to leave the property, refusing to remove their belongings from the property, attempting to sabotage the sale of the home, and conspiring with their friend to steal the landlord's motorcycle.
The landlord was arrested on July 9, 2025 due to a false warrant for embezzlement. The charges were dropped and no evidence was ever presented to the landlord. Two separate complaints were submitted to Radford Police Chief Jerry Holdaway.
Official Response: Radford Police Chief Jerry Holdaway has received, and is aware of, our complaints but does not recognize any "criminal activity" in the evidence we've provided, including GRAND THEFT AUTO.
